Biography ~ Maylene Briones

Former Pinay member Maylene, discovered music through piano lessons at age 5, joined the Benedictine Abbey School Choir at age 12, and has performed at the Folk Arts and the Meralco Theatre in Manila. She organized the original Pinay Divas with Jocelyn Enriquez.

Education: UC Berkeley graduate with bachelor degrees in Asian American Studies and Molecular Cell Biology, minor in Ethnic Studies

2002: Maylene started Medical School in Southern California in August 2002.
